Download the package

Save twibird-chrome-1.0.0-chrome.zip locally.

Unzip the folder

Extract the zip to a permanent folder you won't delete.

Enable developer mode

Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions) and toggle Developer mode on.

Load the unpacked extension

Click "Load unpacked", choose the extracted folder, then refresh Twitter/X to start syncing.

Download offline zip

Offline install works on Chrome and Edge. Keep Developer Mode on only while loading the unpacked folder.
